The Swiss workshop
The story begins in the watchmakers' workshops of Neuchâtel, Switzerland — the cradle of one of the world's most enduring crafts, and the foundation of the family's command of precision.

Neuchâtel — Persia — Europe — London
What began in a Swiss workshop took root in the Persian court, drew on the craft of Italy, and settled under the British hallmark. That inheritance lives in the creations — chosen with judgement, made by hand, and kept long after the occasion that called for it.
The story begins in the watchmakers' workshops of Neuchâtel, Switzerland — the cradle of one of the world's most enduring crafts, and the foundation of the family's command of precision.
An invitation from the king brought the family's Swiss precision into conversation with Persian artistry. A marriage into the royal line followed, and from it a new name was born — Mozafarian, meaning victorious.
At the heart of the Grand Bazaar of Tehran, Mozafarian served as personal watchmaker and jeweller to the Shah of Persia — across both the Qajar and the Pahlavi dynasties.
Created for the 2,500-year celebration of the Persian Empire, the Royal Set comprises thousands of precious gemstones — first presented before sixty heads of state.
Abbas Mozafarian established the family's first European base in Italy, followed by London and Dubai — his first showroom on Old Bond Street. The name became known across Europe.
That line runs to the present day as the House of Mozafarian — continuing a tradition that spans nine generations, while ensuring it remains relevant to the generations to come.

For more than six decades, Abbas Mozafarian has devoted his life to the craft of jewellery. Trained in Tehran and later rebuilding the House in London, he continues a family tradition that spans nine generations.
The family's association with royal and distinguished patrons stretches back generations — from serving the royal houses of Persia to commissions presented before heads of state and international dignitaries.
“ A jewel is closely linked to the heart, and the creation of jewellery is an intensely emotional affair. It is a passion that grows within you, and once you experience its magic, it holds your heart captive. — Abbas Mozafarian
The Mozafarian family is known for serving successive generations through life's most important occasions — from the royal houses of Persia to families who return, generation after generation.
